Balaam's Tree Trail 

Our trail will begin at Balaam's wood orchard, this is located by the bus stop in Arden road and across the road there is a car park and shops. In Balaam's wood orchard there will be a couple of tree species to look at. The trail will then follow down into what remains of the old railway station of which you can follow all the way to a nice picnic spot with some seating under an Ash tree. A short walk from this point will take you on to the erratic footpath which will lead you down to Balaam's wood, were this is a circle trail around the woods. There will be several stops in the woods to look at some different tree species, the river rea and invasive species. After going around the woods you will join back onto the erratic footpath which will follow back to the orchard.
